The Book Blurb
My Review
I came into this book by chance, and I'm still in awe of it. This book was free to read when I first read it, and after reading it, I was surprised that it didn't come in paid titles. Now, It has become a paid story by Wattpad. I read both versions of the book and was pleasantly surprised by how excellent it was.
Chance Nightshade has a hidden gift of telling the truth from lies. She does everything to please her father, but when the murder of her brother declares the never-ending war between werewolves and vampires. She is determined to solve the mystery of her brother's death and find a way to stop the bloodshed of her people. Working with the charming enemy is the only option left. Making a deal with a vampire prince is hard and making it secret from everyone is harder. Chance's father forces her to marry a stranger, but her heart belongs to someone else. War always asks for sacrifice. Is she ready to make a sacrifice, or is the choice also snatched from her?
Queen of the Night is one of the greatest Wattpad stories I've read. The book's plot is written gracefully, strong, and flows naturally. This book describes the different worlds of werewolves and vampires where magic blends perfectly. Chance and London's moments are fewer but still too intense and powerful. It feels like fire on the ice. Chance's emotions, frustration, annoyance, and confusion about the situation grip reality make her more genuine to me. I get so wrapped up in her thoughts and feelings that I feel like I'm becoming closer to her. The ending of this book makes me wish to have another book in the same storyline.
The twist-turns in the book, the thrill of upcoming events, the conflicting emotions of a love triangle, forbidden romance, over-the-top fantasy, and unexpected climax make this book my favorite.
