My Ruin: An Indian Billionaire Romance | Sapna Bhog | Bond of Brothers #1

My Ruin by Sapna Bhog

Rating - 3.5/5

Storyline -

Myra Gupta lost herself after the death of her first love. But, when she meets the cold and reserves Shaurya Rajpoot, everything in her starts to come alive. Questioning each of her feelings and being curious by him leads her into his family, history, or one truth that not only ruins everything she feels but brings her into her past from where she begins to move on.

Shaurya Rajpoot has layers of many secrets and lives only for his family. Myra Gupta comes into his life-changing every view of his thoughts, entering into his skin. Keeping his promise to his family to control his emotions when his control is in her hand, resisting her is just his imagination.

He is no one without his family, nothing without his love. Choosing between his family and his love is like losing himself again. It's not just a story of family, fierce loyalty, love, and betrayal but a story of destruction all over again?

My Review -

Too straightforward, fast-packing, and filled with steamy romance and strong characters. I read it in one go. After reading a blurb, I imagine a twist and thrilling story, but it comes out more predictable. However, the background plot is more strongly written and grips me to the end. The cover and title suit the story impressively.

Myra Gupta is a brave and blunt woman who doesn't hide her emotions, ready to fight for her rights. Surviving after losing her love, she gives herself a second chance.

Shaurya Rajpoot and Sahil Sharma have entirely different personalities but common interests. Shaurya, what I imagine to be cold, but it comes out sweet, caring, loving, emotional, and faithful to his family.

Myra and Shaurya give impressive introductions to this series. Sapna Bhog is good when she writes supporting characters that are also visible in this book. More instinctively, with the other characters and their own hidden stories, I am waiting to read the upcoming books in the series.

This book has a different bond of family and brothers. The book has a happy ending, but the background story continued in the following books with the other couples.
